A painting from the Ligurian Alps , high up in a Costal town , called Porto Maurizio, on the Italian Riviera dei Fiori .

I wanted to capture the stillness and peace as the sun sets - the sea behind , and heat of the night setting in. Those tall fir trees are so evocative , the smell of the pine needles that have been heated in the day. Heaven. It’s such a tranquil place.
