BEE DESIGN , RIMMED SOUP BOWL

29.00

An exquisite fine bone china Rimmed Soup Bowl from Isabel’s Magic & Myth Collection.

Each bee is hand screen printed using real gold or platinum metals, then carefully fired in small batches in the heart of England’s historic potteries. the Bowl has four carefully placed bees, around the edge and in the centre. The bees are as individual as the ones in the wild , so every plate is a tiny bit different , unique .

This uniquely intricate and enigmatic design will live up to any occasion, and makes a wonderful wedding gift or addition to your home. It looks gorgeous at the centre of a table or as part of a whole set.

The Magic & Myth Collection is inspired by the romance of ancient English folklore. Bees are linked with magic, love, industriousness and creativity and could therefore only be represented in the precious metals of gold and platinum seen on these beautiful ceramic pieces.

The plate is durable for everyday use and very happy in the dishwasher. Although you may want to resist dishwashing to stop the gold from fading.

Why choose bone china?

Bone china in comparison to porcelain or earthenware is, in my opinion far superior. It is Translucent with a fine composition, it gives a more delicate appearance, but offers more durability than porcelain , it is lighter in weight than porcelain and has a slightly warmer tone to it; often described as “snow white”. It is delicate , beautiful and a pleasure to touch.
